Pain management is an aspect of medicine and health care involving relief of pain in various dimensions, from acute and simple to chronic and challenging.

After earning his Bachelors in Science at Damascus University in Syria, Dr. Yasser Hussein completed his M.D. at the Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. Moving to Chicago, Dr. Hussein became the Chief Resident at Cook County Hospital for which he received the award for Chief Resident of the Year in 2000.

Along with a Fellowship in Pain Management at Rush University, Chicago, IL, Dr. Hussein has also amassed extensive training, research, and publications in anesthesia and pain management in facilities around the country.
