Before Your Visit
Leading up to your visit, there are a few key things to remember.
We’ll call you.
One to two days before your scheduled surgery, expect a call from a Fullerton Surgery Center nurse. Our pre-operative nurses will confirm the time of your surgery and give you special instructions concerning medication, eating and drinking. Typically, we instruct our patients not to eat or drink anything after midnight on the day before their surgery. Be sure to follow the nurses instructions, and always feel free to call us back if you have any questions or concerns at 773-237-2900.
Life happens, and we understand that. If for any reason you have to cancel your upcoming surgery, call us as soon as possible to explain at 773-237-2900, Monday through Saturday, 7am – 5pm. Our healthcare personnel will determine what the next steps should be. If on the morning of the surgery you are feeling ill, please call us immediately and our doctors and nurses will determine if it is necessary to reschedule your operation.
